Events and other activities
The Regional Ayurveda Research Institute, Itanagar actively organizes various activities and events throughout the year, contributing to health awareness, environmental sustainability, and the promotion of Ayurveda. Key annual events include the Hindi Workshop, Poshan Pakhwada, Environmental Day, Blood Donation Day, International Day of Yoga, Poshan Maah, National Sports Day, Hindi Pakhwada, Swachhata Pakhwada, Ayurveda Day, and Vigilance Awareness Week. These initiatives are aimed at fostering holistic well-being, cleanliness, and cultural awareness. Along with these fixed events, the institute is also involved in organizing Swachhata cleanliness activities regularly, occasional health camps, free distribution of medicinal plants occasionally, preparation of Poshan Vaatika/Herbal Gardens at schools, inviting students and scholars to visit the Institute and its Medicinal Plants Garden, institute level monthly review meetings (Manthan), council level biannual meetings (Avalokan), Seminars/Workshops. Additionally, this institute actively participates in activities and events assigned by CCRAS, New Delhi further strengthening its role in promoting Ayurveda and public health.
